The courageous award should be handed to Cesar Chavez for his pride and his astonishing acts to help farm workers with no rights. Cesar Chavez should be given that award because he has mostly devoted his lfe to make sure that farm workers receive there civil rights.Also he was a great latin idol for most poor people. Cesar Chavez has shown commitment, Union, and confederated with other business. The certificate should be given to him since he’s a latin hero.

Cesar Chavez has shown great commitment to making sure he can assist the farm workers that are in need for help. According to huffingtonpost.com “Cesar Chavez devoted 30 years of his life so that he can help the problems of some of the most poorest people in America.” This means that he really was very serious about this since he took most of his life to all the problems of others. Chavez did marches, civil disobedience, and prayer vigils so that he can get what he wants. Cesar Chavez even did a 5 year boycott that was based off of the unfair treatment.

Cesar Chavez like everyone else was just a human so he needs help so he decided to join forces with other big people. Tavana.org stated, “To bolster their strength, the NFWO (united farm workers) merged with AWOC (agriculture workers organizing committee). This proves that as good as someone can be one will need help at one point to fight for their rights. After Cesar joined forces with AWOC he still needed more supporters so he shut down the market for grapes and did a boycott. Cesar Chavez became so big that he included senator Robert Kennady.

The most special and respectful move that Cesar Chavez did was how he didn’t just get rights for Mexicans he gave rights to other races too. Huffingtonpost.com also stated that he gave rights to, “Anglos, Japanese, Filipinos, Mexicans, ect.” Cesar Chavez is a stunning man that helped those that are in need of assistance. For example, there were times that said, “Filipinos are the packers and the Mexicans are the pickers.” so they worked side by side. To conclude, Cesar Chavez did not only honor his race of Mexicans but many others too and that is something that should be admired by everyone.

Although some people really support that Cesar Chavez is a great man and should deserve that award other people say that Mahatma Gandhi should be awarded instead. Mahatma Gandhi was a employing nonviolent civil disobedience, Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world according to the Wikipedia. This means that Gandhi was also a great man. For example, in 1910, Gandhi established an idealistic community called ‘Tolstoy Farm’ near Johannesburg, where he nurtured his policy of peaceful resistance. To conclude, Cesar Chavez and Mahatma Gandhi were both great men with amazing acts.

This proves that Cesar Chavez has to get awarded with the courageous award. All the evidence is given from having dedication, same cooperation with other organizations, and union between races. This means that Cesar Chavez would be a great choice to be given that award. All in all, Cesar Chavez was a great man and idol to Mexicans and many others.

The theme of “Oh Freedom” would be independence. According to the music in the video it states, “Before i’d be a slave i’d be buried in my grave and go home to my lord and be free.” In the other words this part of the song tells one that these people do not wan’t  to be held captive but the independence over there own life and have equal rights. An illustration can be when one wants to be independent and under no ones control and authority. To infer the color people did not like nor approved of the slavery that was happening and wanted to be unconstrained or like the theme word independent.

Oh Freedom:

The main message for “The Butterfly Circus courage” is courage. In the film it shows a scene where Will has to cross the river with a suppose bridge that is a tree log but the problem is that he has no arms nor legs which makes it difficult, but Will stills make the effort to try. This means that even though Will is disabled he still goes for this risky move, and that shows courage, he may not have succeeded it but after he did accomplish to learn how to swim. An illustration would be when someone goes for something that other people are frightened by. To elaborate, this film shows a powerful message of courage to the people who are disabled and maybe even for the ones that don’t have disabilities.

The Butterfly Circus:

CHAPTER:1
In a torn down cottage with a tattered roof there lived a 12 year old girl named Valentina Amelia Martinez and her mom Daniella Lucia Martinez they both were immigrants and very poor. Lucia comes rushing in the house well kinda a house, anyways she startles Valentina. Lucia keeps screaming, “Get ready we’re going to America!!!” Valentina was so shocked that she stood still until her mother came and started shaking her like a mad women. Valentina started jumping up and down and screaming internally in her head. Lucia shakes her one more time since she was holding her breath and becoming red. Finally, Valentina decides to calm down and breath. Valentina and Lucia talked a little about what they will do when they get to America. Valentina screams, “Ellis Island!!” Lucia nods “isn’t that place really nice!” Lucia nods one last time but then shoos Valentina away so that they can pack up.

Valentina got the bundle and put in some of few clothing she has. When she finished she handed the bundle to her mom so she can pack up her stuff. After all the packing Valentina made a checklist and it went something like this…”Bread, carrots, water, baby blanket, 2 pair of clothing.” Check, check, check, check, check, and check. Valentina was satisfied with what she is going to take but she feels like she’s forgetting something. Lucia snaps her fingers grabing Valentina’s attention. Once Valentina snapped into the direction of her mother she realizes that her mom had her special necklace rapped on her hand while giving Valentina a sly smirk. “Forgeting something” Valentina scoffed while saying, “Of course!” she took the necklace and put it around her neck. The necklace was silver and had an “S” engraved in it. She never found out tye true meaning of it but she always felt a tight connection with it.  Valentina smiled really bright and told her mom that she was gonna go tell her friend bye.

Valentina was walking through the village. She was so happy that she was going to Ellis island but then her smiled faded when she realized that Mateo (her BFF/crush) was gonna stay behind. Valentina bumped into something or actually someone. She looked up to find Mateo looking at her with his big goofy cute smile. She looks down and says, “I need to tell you something.” His smile faded quickly and a worried expression took over his face. Valentina stands proud and tall (when in reality she’s short) and blurts out rapidly, “IMMOVINGTOELLISISLAND…”  Mateo started bursting into laughs and in between in those laughs he managed to say, “I. Have. No. Idea. What. You. Just. Said.” She chuckled and repeated slowly, “I’m moving to Ellis island.” Valentina heard no more laughs and looked up to a heart Mateo. Mateo looked like he wanted to say something but he kept his mouth shut. There was silence and only silence and only silence, it wasn’t awkward silence or anything. I cleared my throat and said, “I’m sorry…” Valentina was so sad she would be leaving her best and only friend…but there was no choice. All of a sudden she felt arms rapped around her. Valentina realised that the warmth and comfort was coming from Mateo. All he said was, “I understand” something flashed through his eyes. Then he walked away and that was it, he left.

Valentina rushed home so that her mom and her can start leaving to the steam boat that they will be boarding to Ellis Island. Lucia saw that something was wrong with her daughter so she asked, “Whats wrong darling I thought you were excited.” Valentina looked up to her mother and the fact that they have a close bond helps in this situation. Also having Nina (dog pet) in this situation helps a lot more. She told her everything while hugging her mom. Lucia listened very closely to every detail her daughter had to say, “…and he left me just like that no bye no nothing…” Valentina ended with her voice cracking. Lucia was thinking of something really good to say, “Well he dumb for not saying good bye but in the bright side you got a hug.” Later Valentina and her mom started to board the boat with their pet dog Nina and one bundle.

CHAPTER :2
Valentina and Lucia got to the boat finally not to early and not to late wait…never mind there 2 minutes early eh well at least there not late. These two people we’re done Valentina and Lucia ha the lowest fare so they are going to be staying in the stinky lower bunk. Valentina turned around when she noticed a man yelling that she can’t bring pets on board. She noticed how Nina was out so Valentina quickly stuffed her in her bundle and since her dog was still a puppy she fit in perfectly. “I’m sorry ma’am but pets are not allowed on the boat.” Said the guy “what dog???” Said Lucia with a very believable face while Valentina was dripping of sweat cause the lie was to big. The guy looked around and so no sigh of a dog so he sighed and left.

By now everything should be fine and calm but no… Valentina was still sweating as much as a pig while Lucia was focusing getting through people so they can find a place to stay. After Valentina and her mom were looking for what seems forever until they found A corner that wasn’t half bad. Valentina sat down and looked around while asking to Lucia how long they would spend on the boat, “I don’t know but I think around one week” Valentina signed while noddin, “I guess that isn’t that bad.” She took her dog out so Nina can stretch a bit. Valentin and Lusia we’re glad that Nina was a quiet dog dock the boat started moving and the only thing you can hear is people screaming on the upper deck is, “Bye bye Spain!!!”

Valentina woke up from their nap that her mom and stretching and listening and all she heard was the waves splashing on the side of the boat because of the steerage. Valentina her know people talking since it was a bit way to early. She looked around and that’s when I hit her… Valentinas Dog Nina was… GONE!! She looked everywhere searching with almost tears falling down her face. Lucia woke up because of all the ruckus and asked, “What’s going on?” Lusia asked while yawning. Valentina replied with a very worried tone, “Nina is…gone”her mom’s face was blank until she started to run all over the place to find Nina.

Valentina gave up and just sat in the corner. She all of a sudden hurt someone whining and it sounded like a dog’s whine. Valentina got up rapidly and started searching. She found a Nina in the arms of a girl. This girl had light brown eyes with wavy medium hair. I looked at Nina and she looked injured I was so worried that I rushed and grabbed Nina. I started looking at her leg.Valentina thought of what you say until it came up to remind to say “thanks for finding her” she replied, “you’re pleasure!” Valentina smiled and said in a soft voice, “my name is Valentina” “Sophia” she responded. Later they were hanging out while watching the sea till someone started to holler Sophia’s name. Then Valentina Heard her mom yell her name. Valentina’s mom found her daughter and an unknown man came in front of Sophia. They didn’t look worried but shocked while the man looked at Valentina and Lusia looked at Sophia.then you see is eyes met with his…”Omar” “Lucia” they both said at the same time. They are still there until Valentina’s mom told Valentina away and they want to where they settled.Lucille looked like she was going to fall into tears.Valentina ran into her mom and hold her and Lucy at all Valentina how Omar is her ex-husband but he cheated on her.

One day later Valentina met with Sophia and they talked about how they want Omar and the sea year to meet and make up. “So it’s planned?!” Valentina said with a smirk, Sophia nodded. Later on that day Sophia brought her dad to The upper deck while Valentina did the same but with her mom. Omar started, “look I’m sorry about what happened but I didn’t cheat on you at all” Lucia responded, “stop, just stop these lies and everything it doesn’t help, OK” Valentina noticed her moms eyes are getting watery like Clearwater. Omar hugging you see year but she tried to push them away but failed because his embrace was too hard. By now Lucia was sobbing in his chest. “I am terribly sorry for what I did but please forgot sake’s forgive me…” Lusia looked up at Omar and replied between tears, “fine, but you’re going to have to earn back a lot of trust” oh more smile so bright and hug her more “of course! I love you Daniela Lucia Martinez.” Few hours later Omar broke up with his fiancé that Valentina and the Lucia found out about, But let’s say that this Caroline did not take the break up lightly, but besides that they were a happy family again.Lusia, Omar, Sophia, and Valentina get off the boat like a big happy family.

CHAPTER:3
Ellis island, the first thing you spot is a deck where you can take off the big smelly steamboat. literally the first people to come out was Valentina and Sophia. Valentina gasped at the site presented in front of them. It was so ugly. The first few things they saw was just trees Valentina was disappointed to see that Ellis Island was a little island that had a stationary built on it even Lucia seemed disappointed. “don’t worry honey the home that we are going to get is absolutely everything you wanted.” Valentina smiled and started to walk more so they can actually be on land. When they all got to the stationary they realized that they are going to be checked out in case they have a disease or are forming one. Valentina and Sofia both sat next to each other, but then a nice looking lady with a clipboard came by and asked, “have you guys felt dizzy or warm or maybe have a runny nose Per chance?” She said in a sweet tone. Valentina and Sophia not it to the side expressing to know. “Ow” Valentina said when the lady accidentally stepped on her and while all that Sophia was trying to hold back a laugh. After all the check ups, and blah blah blah Valentina, Sophia and her parents finally was walking through a big bridge heading to New York.”Why do they need to check if you are sick?” Asked Valentina. “Hmmm, maybe because they want to make sure you don’t bring diseases to New York?” She put her fingers across your chin to show she was thinking, “Maybe”

“Why do you guys have so much luggage.” Omar and Sophia started to laugh, “there is never ‘too much’ luggage” Valentina raised an eyebrow and then looked at her mom. Valentina and Sophia were playing with Nina while Oman Sophia talked to a guy, but about what? After a while Omar Lucea came back to where their children and you know we’re playing. “We got a house!” Valentina and Sophia smile so bright and hugged her mom and dad of happiness. After being all happy they had it in the way of where their new home is settled. “are you happy and excited!?” Sophia asked with the squeak of excitement in her voice, “Um of course I’m moving in with my twin and my father!” “when we get there what will you like to do?” Sophia asked, “maybe take a tour of the cottage and then go outside to play with Nina.Sophia smile the naughty showing she agreed. From there they walked all the way to their gorgeous cottage.

CHAPTER:4
“This is gorgeous!” Valentina and Sophia spat out at the same time. Their home was a big cottage the walls were made of brick with the roof of Dead palm tree. The yard was pretty decent. All in all it was a cute home. “well what are you girls waiting for go look at your rooms!” Valentina and Sophia smiled and ran into the house to their room.later on the day when they were all settled Valentina and Sophia ran down to where their parents were at. “Thank you so much for getting us this house, mom and dad!” They both said at the same time.

The lifestyle of this family was a decent normal one. Lusia and OmarLove each other once more and Valentina and Sophia are united as twins.they got horses and built a nice little farm.Sophia Valentina started practicing for soccer. They all lived happily and comfortable.

“Hey girls get the ball and your horses we are going to go to the shoreline of New York and enjoy the day.” Explained Omar. The whole family hopped on their own horses and started to ride to the shoreline. Once they were there the first thing the Valentina and Sophia did was build some castles, “Wow you guys did a really good job.” Said there Mom, “Yeah we know” smiled Valentina. After they were done having fun in the sand they got the ball and they started showing off their skills to their parents. “You guys are getting so much better” explain Dad! “You know one day we’re going to be the top players in the world!” Said Sophia with a smirk. Like that they were a big happy family!

-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a giving and peace bring type of person. The movie states that he did not want the black and white people to fight and be divided. This means that Martin Luther King Jr. wanted peace on us and did not like the racism and the ways that the society treated the black and white people. For example, when Kyle and Miles were about to fight Martin stepped in before anything can happen and stopped it cause he wanted peace between humanity. All in all Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a giving, kind hearted, peace bringer for all society and the United States of America.

-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s actions made this world different by making some of us more generous and not racist. For example Martin Luther King Jr. Never let how the society treated people affect him and bring him into all that racism. This means that Martin Luther King Jr. Did not let the others people ways of thinking affect him like he did not do what his own kind did he was still nice and generous to the white even though the black did not like the white and hated them. For example, when the white people burned his house down he didn’t hate them even though one of his friends started provoking everyone to take revenge, instead Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Told the crowd that they shouldn’t hate they should take love into consideration. To elaborate more Martin Luther King Jr.’s actions through out the timeline has made such a big difference.

George Lucas the creator of Star Wars did not just make the movies for entertainment he also included in the movies  some life lessons. Amy Ratecliffe explains this in her article that she wrote.

First, according to the article one has to embrace the traits that make you stand apart. The article states, “You’re beliefs, personality, and struggles aren’t exactly like anyone else’s. Celebrate what makes you special rather than becoming being different.” One is unique and different. This means that one should be proud of who they are. An example of this is how storm trooper chose to be a hero, instead of a villain on the Force Awakens. An elaboration of this is understanding that everyone is different and deserves respect.  

Second, the article states that one should be loyal to their friends. The article mentioned, “The best friends stand by you through thick and thin, happiness and sadness, success and failure.” This means that friends can be like family through all the challenges of life. An example of this is how Luke, Han, Lea, and Chewy became family. Always choose friends wisely, because they can be fake.

Lastly, Ratcliffe said that it is never to late to change things around. The write up stated, “Making a change won’t erase the mistakes you’ve made in the past, but you have the power to make a difference moving forward.” This can mean that if one messes up then one can learn from their mistakes and make it better. This can be seen when Dark Vater takes down Lord Sideous and returns to the good side of the Force. The past or present does not determine  the future, it’s the small choices made every minute.

All in all these were the 3 most important life lesson that are in the Star Wars movies. These life lessons Embrace, being different, loyal, and change will help one have a good life, with ways to watch to be entertained with really good movies at the same time being able to know these life lessons.

Do you wonder why the letters in the the keyboard are not layered out as the actual ABC’s? Well our keyboard is layered out like that for a reason. Before there used to be keyboard of all shapes and sizes plus the letters were played with the second half of the alphabet on top and the first half on the bottom. But this way did not work some of the letters kept getting stuck and that made it impossible for people to type. Early typewriters left out the one and zero keys. People used lower case L`s and capital O`s instead. Later on E. Remington and Sons, a weapons manufacture were trying to find a way to take some cash after the Civil War. They decide that writing was the best way so Remington entered into an agreement with Sholes and switched up the layout just a bit. They switched R and the period so that made the word QWERTY and as of know it still exists in or keyboards. Soon they entered the number 1,0 back in place but not till 1970’s is when it was finally standardized.

I have wrote many blogs about the dip but i haven’t shared how we can have more than just 1 dip. Yup you hear’d correctly you aren’t just gonna be in 1 dip all the time you are going to be in multiple each dip will have a problem but i’m pretty sure you are strong enough to make you’re way out. When you are in a competition do you have the feeling of trying to be better than every one else? Well that right there is one of the ways to get your self straight into the dip. Instead of us feeling the urge to become better we should have the feeling that we tried our best and also had fun while doing it. We can also go to the person who won and ask them for some advice on how to make it better next time. When someone explains how “failing” is just a way of “learning better ways to improve” what do you think when they say that? Well when someone says that failing is the way to improve it means that every time that you fail you think of it and say “hmm maybe I have to make sure this in a better type of material” we think of the new ways to make it better and that can lead us to make our way to being successful>
